Role Overview

As a QA Engineer Intern, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of web applications developed by LVC Solutions. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and designers to identify defects, validate features, and improve overall product quality. This is a paid internship designed for students who want hands-on experience in software testing and quality assurance within a real startup environment.

Manual Testing

• Understand product requirements, workflows, and user stories
• Create and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and smoke testing
• Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools
• Validate fixes and ensure issues are resolved correctly

Test Analysis and Documentation

• Review requirement documents and UI designs to identify test scenarios
• Prepare detailed test reports and quality metrics
• Maintain clear and structured test documentation
• Ensure test coverage for new features and enhancements

Collaboration and Agile Testing

• Work closely with developers to reproduce and resolve defects
• Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and sprint reviews
• Provide feedback on usability, edge cases, and risk areas
• Support continuous improvement of QA processes

Automation Testing (Exposure)

• Assist in writing basic automation test scripts (if applicable)
• Learn and work with automation tools and frameworks
• Execute automated test cases and analyze results

Eligibility Criteria

• B.Tech students from Computer Science, IT, or related branches
• Eligible years: 2nd year, 3rd year, and final year students
• Interest in software testing and quality assurance
• Ability to understand application workflows and business logic
• Commitment of 40 hours per week during the internship period

Required Skills

• Basic understanding of software testing concepts and SDLC
• Knowledge of manual testing techniques
• Ability to write clear and detailed test cases
• Familiarity with web applications and APIs
• Basic knowledge of bug tracking tools
• Good analytical and communication skills

Preferred (Not Mandatory)

• Exposure to automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress
• Basic understanding of SQL or database testing
• Knowledge of Agile or Scrum methodology
